Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Reslide website, workspace and API. By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Reslide ("the Service") is operated by Tosea Tech Limited ("we", "us", "our"). The Service converts uploaded images and PDF files into editable PowerPoint (.pptx) files, and is offered both as a web workspace and as a REST API.

We may update, improve or change the Service over time. We aim to keep the API backward-compatible and to give reasonable notice of breaking changes.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your credentials and API keys secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account or keys.

You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service, and you agree to provide accurate account information. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account or an API key has been compromised.

3. Credits, payment and refunds

The Service is billed on a credit basis: 1 credit equals 1 page. Credits are reserved when a conversion task is created and are only settled when the task succeeds.

If a task fails or is canceled, that task has zero net billable credits. Its reservation is reconciled against the same paid and bonus credit pools from which it was taken. A paid-credit reservation is not reissued into a later credit batch after the original batch has been reset, expired or clawed back; a returned bonus-credit reservation may first offset an outstanding bonus-credit debt.

Subscription credits are granted in monthly batches on both monthly and yearly plans (yearly plans receive their monthly page allowance on each monthly anniversary of the billing date). Each batch is valid for that month only: unused credits do not roll over and are replaced by the next batch when it is granted.

Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance for the chosen interval (monthly or yearly). You may cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access to the Service until then, with credits continuing to be granted and usable on their normal monthly schedule up to that date. When a subscription ends, or a payment is fully refunded or disputed, remaining subscription credits expire and future monthly grants stop. If a payment is partially refunded, the current credit batch is reduced in proportion to the refunded amount and the number of remaining monthly grants is reduced accordingly (rounded to the nearest month). Except where required by applicable law, subscription fees already paid are non-refundable. Failed or canceled task reservations are reconciled under the original credit-pool lifecycle described above and do not create credits in a later batch.

4. Your content and ownership

You retain all rights to the files you upload and to the .pptx files the Service produces from them. The generated output is yours to use, edit and distribute, including for commercial purposes. We do not claim ownership of your content or output.

We process your uploaded files solely to perform the conversion you request and to operate and support the Service. We do not use your uploaded content or generated output to train machine-learning models.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to the content you upload, and you agree not to use the Service to process content that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt or overload it, circumvent usage limits or billing, reverse-engineer non-public parts of the system, or use it to process content that is illegal or violates third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate access that we reasonably believe violates these terms or puts the Service, us or other users at risk.

6. Warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that conversions will be error-free or that the Service will be uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tosea Tech Limited will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you.

Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected].
